I have always run up and down stairs, this is both good exercise saves time raises my heart rate regularly and is easy to do.
Are there any other simple easy things that we all could do to help keep fit and active?

I am just about to buy a hola-hoop to exercise with while I listen to club music. I have found that hip gyration really exercises those stomach muscles that begin to give up when we reach middle-age.
Of course this has to be done in conjunction with eating less and lowering the room temperatures if we want to increase our metabolic rate. (always warm up your muscles though, before over-exerting).

Some years ago I had a severe breathing problem which turned out to be asthma. At that time I was smoking and was sure that I had lung cancer as the problem started after I had been to the pub and was smoking more than usual because of the social habit, and drinking Strongbow. When the Doctor send me for an xray there was no problem shown, and I said I had developed asthma. In the weeks after this episode I found that I drink this cider which contains a lot of 'e' numbers and is very bad for asthmatics, as are any food and drink products with the same additives, which accumulate in the body. There is an increase in childhood asthma but we are still using this stuff. Fresh food is better.

I think exercise is the best and affordable option for people to stay healthy and clean-living. But we need to be cautious in doing exercises, we need take to consider our lifestyle, or better yet we are to consult our personal DR.

Well cycling and swimming are really good exercises... Swimming gives tone to the body and is rated as the best exercise..
