Does anyone know what software is commonly used in Canada for thermal modelling and building simulation?
What is this industry like over there? Are there jobs available?
My husband is Canadian and wants to move home. we currently live in the UK.
I ask as I currently work as a thermal modeller and building simulation consultant here in the UK, Am experienced user of both IES and TAS software, am qualified to masters degree level with 5 years experience in this field. I am having trouble finding jobs on web searches in Canada, perhaps it is because this is a speciliased area or I am looking in the wrong place?
Any help would be appreciated.

R2000 and now R3000
these are both free and can be downloaded and are very good
The programmes are fairly easy to use and so you could have a look at them
Canada is way ahead of us on both insulation and air tightness and thermal modeling.
