Can you suggest / recommend any company to insure a self build house? We have bought a half-built house and so far 2 agents have been unable to find us an insurance company willing to insure whilst we finish the build. (The builders we are likely to use have their own liability insurance of around £4m.) Many thanks

Hi, I am also trying to insure a "self build" (our builder, who is a one man band, only has his PLI). If I find anyone I will let you know. Good luck with your project!

Not sure aboute sites, but houses can be insured with Allianz.
