I am looking and wondering about a prity stove. I see there is a distributor in the UK...(They are from Bulgaria)...and I am attracted to them,-Im funny like that!-because they allow you to cook,(a little) and provide hot water and central heating as well as being able to see the flames. (They say that they will stay in overnight as well)....and they are a reasonable price too....So what could go wrong. ? Well the downside seems to be that they are not Hetas registered and the manufacturers are so far away if anything DOES in fact go wrong. I live in a Thatched House and need to be careful with what I install. Trouble is that the Kitchen can't have a rayburn in cos its got no chimney so it means puting it in the main living space or plumbing for a normal woodburner. I like the idea of being able to boil a kettle etc on the fire..and this would allow me to do that. Central heating stoves will usually send most of the heat to the boiler. I believe that the Prity stoves throw out quite a bit of heat to the room and this may be a downside aspect,so too maybe the area of fuel efficieny if they are not terrifically well insulated. But Im in the dark here.... I know I've written rather a lot here but I am just curious to know if anyone has any gems they can offer me as regards the more higher powered versions of the Prity Stoves-and their performance etc.

If the stove is not Hetas approved, check your insurance will still be OK,we know how they wrigle if you have to claim.
