I had a stovax stockton double sided stove fitted earlier in the year. What is it you want to know??
 
I must say I have been slightly disappointed in the heat output. I'm not sure if it's because the flue is straight out the top of the stove or because it doesn't have the 'cleanburn' functionality (I don't this is available on any double siders).
Or maybe I'm just not fuelling it enough! I'm not sure yet.

We have a Woodwarm double sided stove - we went for the 9kw version at a single depth. Its great and couldn't recommend them highly enough, they look great as well - simple with large glass doors, nothing too ornate.

Just want to know if you were happy with its operation any good or bad points? not sure what you mean by clean burn functionality?

No probs with the operation of the stove. The stove can heat our whole 3 bedroom house when it's stoked up and the doors are open. As with all stoves, the windows blacken a bit after a few uses, but a scrub with damp newspaper dipped in the wood ash brings it up a treat.
'Cleanburn' is available on lots of stoves now where the gases are burned off in a kind of secondary burn (i.e. thus, giving a more efficient burn). I think its all to do with how the air is fed through. Because this feature uses the back of the stove, it is not possible on a double-sider.

Well it seems that single sided stoves were much better.
Some things can remain as they are because they are not the ones first in the line to be improved.
