The aim has been to create convenient and desirable homes. Buildings which are economic to live in, cost effective to build, sustainable and adaptable without sacrificing high quality, with a sense of place and, above all, a replicable model - not just a one-off demonstration project. With two previous builds under their belt, one in Woking and the other in Guildford, Greenoak Housing Association, a small local association with a forward thinking committee has resolved to build ‘green’ homes and they commissioned a team of professionals with expertise and experience in the field.
