New green bungalows for Lincoln tenants

Work has officially started on a City of Lincoln Council scheme to build 20 new bungalows in Birchwood.
The new homes, being constructed on land formerly occupied by garages, will help the council meet a growing demand for bungalows in the area.

Tiled walls and roof add style to eco homes

Tiles have been used to create a seamless finish on a series of high-end eco homes in North Bristol. Resembling origami, the four three-storey homes are clad in Riven Blue, coupled with grey roof tiles to give the illusion that both roof and walls are made from one continuous material.

Illegally sourced wood may still be available in UK

A recent investigation by WWF-UK has raised concerns about the ability of some UK companies - including Oak Furniture Land and Fender - to prove where their wood supply comes from. Customers could unwittingly be buying products containing wood from threatened forests.
