The question then is: how to combine high fabric performance with low impact materials while responding to the local surroundings? This is what inspired me in the conception of Springfield House. As mentioned earlier, spatial enjoyment and aesthetics are also of importance and we are working to a tight construction budget (£1100-1300/m2) to achieve these ambitions.
