Domestic gas and electric monitoring

Though I'd just give this site from oxford uni a plug
http://www.imeasure.org.uk/
in combination with a plug in or wireless electric monitor
it can give you good info to work with.
once you got it sorted lend your monitor to a friend

Not much info there Jim. With just an invite to register without telling the user what they are registering for sounds like a scam.
 
It is a piece of hardware or an internet form that does the monitoring for you?

Scam ? no its just a tool to help people keep track onthere usage
Its a internet form you fill in each week with your meter readings, it then gives you the results in co2 emission etc.
and compare them ( the useful bit)with other users
