Hi all just after a quick bit of advice.The bedroom wall upstairs in my 3 bed semi appears to be floating between the joists and resting on the floorboards. The wall is solid and the house is 1930s if this helps.I am trying to lift the floorboards to get close to the wall for socket work but obvoiusly i cant cut it as its not on a joist so cant get close enough. Can someone please tell me if this is normal.Thanks
