flue sizing for a morso squirrel

Hi

about to diy install a morso squirrel ( 4.5kw cleanburn version) with a new 5 metre length of twin wall flue pipe. The flue will run straight up and pop out of the roof into a busy and semi sheltered roofscape.

Should i go for 130mm diameter to get a better draw or 150mm diameter (as is the norm for these installations) ?

Any advice appreciatted.

Hi Stewart,
aside from it being a no no to diy a stove, you should be using 150mm if you want to burn wood in your squiggle..5 metres draw should be fine unless thair circulation around the cowl is impeded.
keep cosy
