In Sweden, 25% of all energy use is derived from biomass. In Linköping, Sweden’s fifth biggest city, all the buses and garbage trucks run on biogas. The also have a biogas powered train line and some private taxis run on biogas.

This biogas train from Linkoepping is a tourist atraction, no real passengers or goods transport, more like a fun fair train. I tried it last year: "Sorry, not today" was the answer at the ticket stall.
That there is no natural forrest left in Sweden thanks to the Mafia-like timber industy,(hybrid-)tree plantations grown in monoculture.... would you call this sustainable/green?
They are having this year an invasion of moskitos thanks to the collapsed ecosystem(collapsed because of the tree monocultures!)so badly that even EU protected natur systems (the hybrid trees are called 'nature' in Sweden!) have be sprayed with pesticides on very large scale....

The cows were most likely constipated that day, at least someone is showing that it can be done. Still sitting around your old coal fires in the UK. Ha Ha

Regarding the status of the Swedish forest, it is growing more and more, never had so much forest in the country, and the Mafia has nothing to do with it, wrong country.
A small town which because of the heavy rain, and then the warm temps, mosquitos have gone wild, so pesticides have been used, but this is only a very small area, do get your facts correct

Should I make it more clear?
This train line was supposed to be closed down due to financial loss making, no paying passengers and no goods to be transported.
Because Volvo wanted more and better roads to be build, the old ones crumbling because of Volvos huge trucks transporting lot of timber... financed by the taxpayer as well.
But every Ore can be spend only once, either roads or trains.

To get the votes of this conservative corner in Sweden the red gouverment used money from enviroment protection household positions as well as for farming and subsidised the railway company again and again.
Declaring they do something good. Saving their bums in parliament seats.
This train really goes only once per day in the weekend during the holiday season.
As fridhems pink glases see it:" ....showing that it can be done.." Corruption that is, undermining democracy.

@fridhem: are you sure you life in Sweden? Your knowledge seems to be very basic from my foreigner's point of view(no insult).
