Not all accurate but thanks for the article
Thanks for the article. The project is set to be the first Passivhaus to be built in South Yorkshire. As has been pointed out, it will by no means be the first earth-sheltered house in Yorkshire, or the first earth-sheltered Passivhaus in the UK.

I hope it is followed by Grand Designs or somesuch. I'm really interested in these projects.

Question for Cassie - Have you published any info on "Way Under" or a blog of anything? I'd love to see how it went. I remember you asking for name suggestions on GBF, best wishes Robin

Misleading article
This is certainly not the first earth shelter house in Yorkshire, the first was Underhill the home of Arthur Quarmby in Holmfirth West Yorkshire, there are others including my own " Way Under" in Denholme West Yorkshire. "Way Under" was also built in green belt.
